It
takes longer to restore a window than it does to construct a
new window from scratch. We take time to analyze the existing
structure and construction techniques used by the original artisans
for the window in question. Differing construction techniques
can greatly alter a windows final dimensions. We also
conduct an analysis of why the window failed it would
be a negligent construction practice to restore a window and
then place it back into a setting that may have contributed
to its demise. Window deconstruction requires great patience
and care to ensure no further damage happens to the glass fabric
during window disassembly. In reassembling a window, we do not
modify or alter the window components in any way; all construction
practices are reversible.
