Artist Statement

Glass transmits light. Stained glass transforms light. The constant changing conditions of daylight, coupled with the refractive properties of color, texture, and dimension within stained glass, imbue the space with a constantly changing pallet of color.

One might think art and perfectionism are diametrically opposed practices. Stained glass provides a bridge between these forms by allowing the artist in me to create free form and geometric images and the perfectionist in me to construct my artwork with the care and precision of an aerospace engineer.
